A critical appointment is rarely solved by access alone. The mandate needs to be understood in context, the relevant market needs to be constructed and the evidence needs to be interpreted by someone prepared to challenge assumptions.
Evense combines senior involvement, disciplined research and direct engagement to help clients move from an important leadership need to a well-supported appointment.
The role is critical to a transformation, growth plan or new strategic direction; the organisation needs to reach leaders who are not actively visible in the market; the mandate or level is still being defined; the relevant talent may sit in adjacent sectors, functions or geographies; confidentiality and careful market engagement are essential; the client wants external challenge, not simply a list of names.
Finding the right talent is one of the greatest challenges of any organization. Evense brings the expertise, human touch, network, and tenacity to find your future high performers
At Evense, we take a personal, customized approach to executive search.
We know that the search for talent is both an art and a science. That's why we operate a bespoke model combining a disciplined process with a human-centered approach focusing not only on understanding your needs, but more importantly your culture, your business, your industry.
While our process is robust, our approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique requirements. Our search process is open, transparent and collaborative. This allows us to move quickly and find the right fit.
By getting it right, the first time, we save you time, energy and money.
Our process
A rigourous Process
Our process is designed to deliver the right fit for your company as quickly as possible.
1. Understanding your needs, culture and industry
The objective of this first phase is to understand not just your hiring need, but more importantly your culture, your business, your industry. This comprehensive knowledge will ensure that we will find you the right fit. The deliverables of this phase will be a Job Description, a Target Universe and a Search Strategy
2. Identifying candidates
Based on our search strategy which will determine the industries, companies and possibly geographies where to find top talent, we will search broadly and intelligently to identify the best talent for your organization. We will create a Long List relying on our deep market knowledge, well-maintained talent networks, and proven research practices.
3. Thorough screening
We interview the most relevant candidates to benchmark them against each other, looking at their skills set, potential and drive. We systematically narrow the long list to a short list that is tailored to your needs and prioritize candidates who will thrive both functionally in the role and culturally your organization.
4. Selecting and closing the search
We will check the professional and academic references of each candidate of the short list before you interview them. Once you have selected your preferred candidate for the role, we will partner with you to develop a compelling offer to ensure the completion of the search.
A clearly framed mandate and success criteria; an agreed research and target-universe strategy; visibility into market findings and constraints; evidence-based candidate documentation; senior advice at key decisions; referencing and appointment support; intelligence generated through the search, not discarded when the assignment ends.

Leadership Market Landscape combines structured market evidence with senior interpretation. It may inform mandate design, succession, organisational choices, market entry or a future search; mapped people are not represented as assessed or available candidates.
AI can help examine markets, structure information and test research hypotheses at a scale that manual work alone cannot match. Every relevant profile, interaction, assessment and recommendation remains subject to experienced human review.
We do not believe leadership should be reduced to an algorithmic score.
