Candidate Support

Guidance, process expectations and a direct route to ask a question — without a placement promise.

Candidate Support is a secondary route for guidance, process expectations and questions if you're involved in a client-led search. It does not mean Evense places unsolicited candidates, maintains a public candidate marketplace, or promises placement.

If you have a question about a search process you are already part of, or about how Evense works with candidates, use the form below.

Why we may contact you

Our research may indicate that your experience is relevant to a specific mandate or to an exploratory market discussion. An initial conversation allows us to explain the context, understand your perspective and determine whether further discussion makes sense.

Being contacted is not a guarantee of inclusion in a shortlist or appointment process. We aim to be clear about the stage and purpose of the conversation.

What to expect

First contact: we identify ourselves, provide appropriate context and suggest a confidential conversation.

Exploratory conversation: we discuss your experience, interests, timing and initial relevance to the mandate. This is also your opportunity to test whether the context merits further consideration.

Assessment: if the process advances, conversations become more detailed. We explore evidence from your experience, leadership choices, motivations and the environments in which you have worked.

Client discussions: we help you understand the process and prepare for relevant client conversations. The client makes its own appointment decision.

References and offer: references are handled at an agreed stage and with appropriate communication. Where relevant, we support clarity around the appointment and transition.

Confidentiality

We treat a candidate’s interest and personal information with care. We explain what information is needed, why it is relevant and when it may be shared — see our Privacy Notice.

Preparing for a conversation

Review the business context and the outcomes the role is expected to deliver. Be ready to explain decisions, not only responsibilities. Consider the conditions in which you perform at your best. Identify the questions you need answered before investing further in the process. Be open about timing, constraints and potential conflicts.

Questions worth asking

Why is the appointment being made now? What will success look like after the first year? Which decisions will the role genuinely own? Where are the main areas of alignment or tension among stakeholders? How will the client evaluate the appointment?

Frequently asked questions

Can Evense find me a role if I send my profile? Evense works on specific mandates for client organisations and is not a general placement service. A profile sent without a relevant mandate does not create an obligation or expectation that Evense will identify an opportunity.

Will my interest remain confidential? We treat confidentiality as fundamental. The practical details depend on the stage and mandate, and we explain when information is proposed for sharing.

Can I ask for feedback? We aim to communicate appropriately throughout a process. The timing and level of feedback can depend on the stage and client context.

How can I correct my information or make a privacy request? Use the Candidate Support contact route, or see our Privacy Notice.

Do not use this form to apply for employment at Evense. Visit Join Evense when that route is available.
